In the early morning hours of Sunday the 29th of June, Olive gave birth to 5 health little babies. 2 Tr-color boys, 1 Tri-color girl, 1 Black and Tan boy and 1 Black and Tan girl. One little tri-boy already has a deposit down on him. Mommy and babies are doing excellent and are in great health! Check out the Available page for mommy and babies first picture!

Olive and Tucker have a litter due around the 26th of June. We have one deposit down for a tri-boy. But as everyone knows with a black and tan and a tri, it is VERY up in the air as to what we could get!

So very recently we have changed the food that we are using at Angel Pawz. With the Buffalo Blue we have been having many digestive problems with the dogs and the puppies. The food we are now using is by Nutro called Natural Choice, it is the Chicken, brown rice, and oatmeal formula. It is in a mint green bag both the puppy and adult formula. A heaping 1/3 scoop three times a day for puppies, and twice a day for adults. Switching from Puppy to Adult formula starts at one year old. This food can be found at petsmart or petco. If you have a dog or puppy already on the Blue Buffalo, you DO NOT have to switch if you are comfortable with the BLUE, and if you do decide to switch formulas, you NEED to mix the formula you are on with the new food, half and half, for a week. If you do not mix the two your dog WILL have digestive issues.

New Puppy pictures are up, and the puppy supply list has been changed a bit. One of the biggest changes here at Angel Pawz is we have gone completely green. We are now using Legacy of Clean products around the house, they are all plant based cleaners, we no longer use Clorox clean up, or 409 chemical disinfectants. The Legacy of Clean, and Pursue medical grade disinfectants have no chemicals or the chemical odors that Clorox and 409 have. We even use the laundry detergent on all our dog towels, All the products are plant based, and smell great. You can find them at Amway.com/Kristyntholen The best thing about these products is the dogs, or children can get into them, and nothing bad will happen, they are all plant based, we no longer have to air out all the dog cages when they have been cleaned because there are no longer any fumes. You can also me (Kristyn) personally to see some of the products, and smell them and see how they work. All the products are in the same price range as everything you already use, just green, no chemicals or additives.

We at Angel Pawz, are happy to announce that in the late hours of March 28th Alice gave birth to 4 Blenheim girls, 1 Blenheim boy, and 1 Tri-Color boy. There are two deposits down on this litter, and puppies are picked in order that deposits have been taken at 5/6 weeks of age. Please call or email for more details on this litter. Names we picked out for this litter last night and the theme this go-round is from Despicable Me. We have Gru, Stuart, Margo, Edith, Agnes and Lucy! Names were chosen by Megan. (Obviously when you get a puppy from us you DO NOT have to keep the names. This is just something fun we do for each litter!)

As of Friday February the 7th Olive’s litter will be 6 weeks old. We start puppy visits at 6 weeks old after the puppies have had their first vaccine. So email or call to make an appointment to come see Anna, Elsa, Olaf and Sven. We do respectfully ask that if you have more than one place you are visiting that you make us your first stop. You never know what can be contracted from place to place and with the puppies at a still young age, they can catch things very easily. Babies don’t have the immune system adults do, and they are not fully vaccinated till 10-12 weeks of age. We keep our home very clean and as sterile as possible in the place the puppies are (our kitchen) so we ask that you help us keep it that way. We also have Holly’s litter that is just going to be a week old, so we have to be very careful with their health. We cannot wait to meet you, and neither can the puppies!
